Exciting New Toyhauler

Plan on taking a trip to Breckenridge June 18-26. Does anyone know of a place I can leave a motorcycle trailer for the week. Family reunion booked a condo so going to haul the bike on a trailer. Will be leaving the fifth wheel at home this trip. Hope I can take a day trip up to Wyoming. Any help is appreciated.

Have you called the Condo management company and asked if they have open parking for a trailer? About the only place I can think of in Breckenridge would be one of the ski area overflow parking lots, but they may or may not be open and/or allow overnight or multi-day parking of a trailer. Also not sure I would want to leave a trailer there unattended. I would start with the Condo manager and see what they suggest.

On another note, if you ever bring the 5er out to Breckenridge there is an outstanding RV Resort just outside of Breckenridge (north side towards Frisco/Dillon) called Tiger Run Resort. It is a private resort with individually owned sites, but they are available for rental to the general public.

The town of Breckenridge has a few public parking lots. The ice rink lot allows overnight parking not sure if the others do. You have to pay and have a tag for overnight use. You can get them at city hall I think. There are a few other kiosks as well.

Other than that I dont think they allow any overnight parking went through this last year doing backpacking trip.

Thanks guys, I tried the Tiger Run and they wanted to rent me a chalet. Told them I had a place to stay just wanted to park a bike trailer. The condo will let me keep it ther from the eay they talk for a 5. 00 a day permit. I guess they have to get all the money they can from the tourist. May not be warn enough to ride in June, was snowing when I talke to the guy on the phone.

Okie

Doesn't sound like too bad of a deal through the Condo. The central and northern front range mountains (including the Breck area) are due to get as much as two feet of snow over the next couple days. June can bring anything up there, most often you get decent days with a good chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. More often than not I would be hiking or biking in a t-shirt and shorts, maybe a fleece with an early start. On the contrary, in both June and July I have skied a foot of new powder hiking up the peaks off Hoosier Pass just outside of Breckenridge.

If your planniing a day trip to Wyo. from Breckenridge you must be riding pretty fast or your going to be leaving awful early and getting back pretty late :-laf Beautiful country though----

I guess it depends on what part of Wyoming you want to head to, but plan on approximately 3 1/2 hours from Breckenridge to Cheyene.

Hey Okie-I'm in Fort Collins, 60 miles north of Denver, 40 miles south of Cheyenne. If you feel so inclined, you're welcome to park your trailer at my place for a few days. I have plenty of space, and its safe and free. Bruce

Been on the road guys, Thanks for the offer but I am going to mhaul some other stuff for kinfolk. they said they would help with the bill.

Okie Go,

Sorry I have not been on TDR lately and just saw your post. I live between Frisco & Breck and can store your trailer if you still need a place. PM me and we can work out the details.

I have it taken care of. Tried to send a reply to your pm but it looked like the format had changed. Posted here as it looked like it was a lot of trouble to reply. Too complicated, easier to just post here.
