Is anyone using the Brembo replacement rotors? My cheapo Auto Zone rotors are warped after 3 months of use and I'm looking for a higher quality brake rotor without breaking the bank. The Brembo rotors are only $61 each at tirerack.com. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has used these rotors. Thanks.
I have not used the Brembo brand of rotors on any of my trucks. I have used the Raybestos Super Stop Rotors for the 3500. They are a very beefy rotor and are Extreme duty rated, when I was looking before my replacement, I thought they were the best out there. So far they have been great, and the braking action is excellent. I am in the process of re-working the breaks on my Ford, I went with Power Slot rotors on it. They too look to be very heavy duty and well made. Both came cross drilled and the Raybestos brand was also gas slotted. When I was looking I ran across many very cheap rotors, they were half the cost of these but looked the part as well, Rotors and anything to do with the brakes is something that should not be done on the cheap. Good brakes cost money, and great brakes cost a little more. On the Dodge I went with EGR's carbon/Kevlar pads and shoes, they are exceptional and I will use them again if the need arises. The Ford I went with power Slots 911 carbon/ceramic pads and shoes, I'll have to wait ans see how they turn out.
