i e-mailed Brentz Wheels about their rim load rateing and the replyed

Hi Greg,

All of our 19. 5" Single wheels are #4500lb load rated. Our line of dually wheels are #3100lb load rated. Our wheels are fully polished, Forged One Piece and are direct bolt on, using NO ADAPTERS. They come complete with billet aluminum centercaps and lugnuts. Let us know if we can help you in the future. Thanks - Brent

i think he's saying they're the correct offset for our trucks.

I just sent them another email to verify width and offset as well as get a ballpark price. I appreciate the tip, I've been searching for positive offset 19. 5's for nearly 2 years now.

-Scott

Wheels are priced by which series they are. 19. 5 Single wheel sets have (4) Forged One Piece aluminum wheels, (4) billet aluminum engraved centercaps, (32) extra long chrome lugnuts, (4) valvestems and and misc. hardware. Pricing is:

Classic Series: $2400

Premier Series: $2600

Signature Series: $2800

Hope this help you. Let us know if we can help you further. Thanks - Brent

Yep, I got the same response in less than 30 minutes. Very impressed at the response time :)

I'll also add the wheels are both hubcentric and lug centric and he said they'll move out approx 1/4" on a third gen Dodge SRW. Apparently they don't quite have the +40 mm offset of stock.

-Scott

Wow, very nice wheels. Forgive my ignorance but are 19. 5" tires less prone to going flat? In other words would a spare be a wise investment or is it not really necessary like with big mud tires. And, where do you see the SRW wheels on there site?

-Dave

A spare is always a good investment but a standard 16" or 17" spare would get you out of a pinch if it's close to the same diameter. As for the likelyhood of a flat yes, it should be less. These tires are generally 14 ply but there are common options ranging from 12-16.

I havn't found the SRW wheels on thir site yet.

Can someone point out what I'm missing about Brentz? I talked to them and their prices are steep. I can get Rickson's wheels (4 alum. 2 steel) AND tires or even Dual designs WITH adapters AND 6 Aluminum wheels AND tires for the same price as Brentz wheels only. Brentz is 4 aluminum with 2 steel inners, what am I missing?

BTW Brentz gets their steel inner's from Rickson so I'm even more confused on their pricing :(

I've been waiting on Rickson for over a year to get me a set of SRW wheels (aluminum or steel) with close to the factory offset. This may be an option if I want to pony up the cash.

The quote I got was on the classic round hole style. I could see paying allot if it was an outrageous custom wheel no one else had, but classic round... I think I prefer getting 6 alluminum wheels AND 6 19. 5 Michelin tires for the same price as 6 Brentz wheels. Is there another aspect I am missing?

a little photoshop tuch up

heres my truck with the new rims pasted on. i got a little greedy with the trailer but why not! it aint to scale but it does look good!
