I replaced the stock Michelins today with the Bridgestone dueler A/T revos (265-70R-17,s)What a difference in the snow,as far as gripping power and just as quiet on the road as the michelins. coobie :)

Same here. I got mine yesterday. I replaced my BFG Rugged Trails with the Revo A/T's, same size and rating as yours. Very nice looking tire. I must say that I did get 44,000 on my Rugged Trails which is not too shabby.

This is very interesting... after a couple of months of looking for the right tires, 2 days ago I went to get some Generals put on, and the sales manager talked me into the Revo's too!

Thanks, Mconstable! Will keep an eye out for them! My Toyos are fine, but in snow they are worthless! I'll look at the Discount Tire website for prices.

I am on my second set of REVO's (though my truck is a 2nd gen and uses the 265/75/16 size). They have been great. Got about 58k out of the first set and am right at 50k on this set. Looks like they will go about the same as the first set. They have been great in the snow, on the dry and wet. The do good offroad as long as it isnt too muddy. They have also done well in loose stuff offroad but I havent used them in deep sand so cant speak to that.

I got mine at costco (they did have to order them though) for just under 750 mounted and balanced.

Myself also after shopping tires for about a month and a half bought a set of Revo's on Sunday. So far very happy with them. They don't seem to have as harsh a ride as the OEM Michelins. Mine were about $975 :( installed.

Dbond,

Sorry I didn't notice your "Which Toyos do you have? query.

I have the 245/75/16 AT Toyo 10 ply E rated. I bought them from Les Schwab Tire Stors. They ride well and are fairly quiet. It is a good looking tire. On light snow, they don't do too well. Perhaps I need more weight in the bed of my 2500 truck.

i've had mine on a few thousand miles, the performance is great, but they seem to be very soft. they are starting to wear around the front edges from cornering. i'll keep you up to date. :D

Did some checking at Costco today. Had a "killer deal" lined up for a set. There were only two stores in the N. W. that still had some. I was going to get a set and found out that the book did not recommend the 265 rating (as opposed to the 245) for my truck because my rims were only 6. 5 inches wide. They said that the bead would wear out and there would be sidewall damage (eventually). What size rims do you have(Wmoody)? Did you get the 265/75/16 size? Make sure you had the 7. 0 or better rims.

Oh, for the "killer deal" --- $595. 00 total! Boy am I sad.
