What can be done, my 2011 is a Laramie longhorn so maybe 4 headlight instead of 2 Headlight? I've read a bunch of posts about headlights but all seem to be about 2013+ and don't think that it would be same for '10-12. Oh and I'm not spending more on headlights than a set of tires...

Just looking for advice on bulbs that actually throw light.

The lights are HORRIBLE... I gave up and installed a rigid light bar in the grill... there are a number of threads with great detail here to give u direction

I am using LED's on my 2008, truck and these are far superior than the factory lights. The installation consisted of Led fog lights plus hi/low beam LED lights that are clock-able for the best light output using the existing light housing on the truck. I installed them two years ago and these have made a tremendous differences in night time driving.
For the Hi/Low beam I am using Lumawerx LED lights and for the fog lights they are Extreme LED Pro.

Look up your rig and go from there.

I have a set of Alpharex NOVA LED projectors coming today, a co worker got them and the light output is great with no flashing from oncoming cars so I decided to try a set. Expensive for sure but I see headlights as a safety issue and willing to spend money on a good set if its a 1 time purchase. There are cheaper websites out there too, I paid about $125 less by finding the part number I wanted and shopping around.

Update to my last post about the Alparex Nova lights, got them in and the light output is impressive, so much better then stock housings with Silverstar bulbs it pretty crazy honestly. Unfortunately I did not know until after I got them that the adjusters are on the back of the light, as in you have to pull the headlight out to adjust the beam which is mind boggling to me so for that reason I could never recommend them and pretty frustrated about it after spending almost $900 on lights. So light output is amazing but the adjuster is a deal breaker to me for future purchases.

So are you talking about the clocking adjustment being in the back? If so, you clock them LEDs 30' and 90' and done.

Anyhoo, glad you figured it out.

Cheers, Ron

The fine adjustment for up / down and side to side, there are no adjustments that can be made while the headlight is mounted in the truck thought I am going to look at drilling a hole on the inner fender sheet metal to get to the adjuster.
