I have a 2002 Ram 2500 and would like a little brighter heaqdlights. After driving this truck for 10 years i cant see as well at night anymore, The lights are not getting dimmer but my eyes are getting worse. I do not want to change the entire light assembly so is ther a brighter bulb I could install? I do not want to do any large mods just like to see a little better at night.

JDorion,

I just installed Sylvania SilverStar bulbs in my '05. You can tell the difference, whiter brighter light. Not cheap, but it did what it said.

osram nightbreaker is pretty good had it in my old vw and i have put those into some friends offroad lights. . havent had time to put them in mine yet but they sure are alot brighter and long life (have never replaced any of them and been running many years)

i wired in relays to draw power directly from the batteries and that helped, then polished the headlights and removed the yellowed layer of plastic and that helped (till they yellowed again, uv coating in plastic goes bad and sun eats them up) the ultimate fix was new lights and i now have nice bright light with stock bulbs, you'd be surprised how much light yellowed lenses kill
