here is an update, kinda,



sounds like a lot of spectators will be there, due to the "hog of the century" being there and k+s sent a flyer out to all their customers.



unfortunately, the cummins may be in trouble. for those who remember kennedy with the duramax, he may have enough to win the competition. i have not heard any different dodges coming to keep the power in the cummins corner. we will have a strong showing but i dont think there will be any monsters there.



a rep from BD will be there.



supposed to be some people coming up from chicago, i dont know what they are bringing.



anyways, bring the SMOKE!!!#@$%! the people want to see it and the other brands dont have it. i know of four smokers that will be there. we need more there.



the doors will be open and no pipe will be put on the exhaust. (cost me about 20 hp last week when i tested my new truck)

How much hp do you think one can get out of a Dmax on fuel only money being no object? I would like to know. I won't be any competition for any one with a tiny 400 hp.

csevers: Dyno will be in operation from 8AM - 6PM per K&S unless the crowd winds down early. So you have all day to compete!

I would've liked to try #2 alone. That would make things interesting (not to mention harder to over-rev). But I'm gonna be busy.



It's too bad it isn't a couple months later. My neighbor and I are working on twins for his truck *insert meniacal laugh here*. But we're still in the planning stages. It's too bad. He was Mr. Low Horsepower last time. Oh well. It will just have to wait for Goerand's.

i will come if we can run our own trucks. . its about a 6 hour drive for me so i need to know for sure because i will not let anybody touch my truck. i should be able to put down 600 horse on nitrous & my big injectors. will this be enough to keep the duramax behind the dodges or will i have to step up my nitrous & realy give her a sniff ... thanks kurt. .

yes you can run your truck. i asked jason for the special trucks and hes said yes, the owner can run them.



i dunno what kennedy will be running.

Well guys hate to say it but I won't be able to make it now. I have to work this weekend. Some dumb ppl decided to start a major test on Friday that has to run for 100 hours straight. Maybe next time.

Kennedy did bring his smoke and took the top hp at 457, Then by dump luck I came in with 415 hp and then another D-max at 413hp, I think the rest were below 400. There was plenty of smoke to see and some gassers to, Dave missed some really nice cars after he left.

ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!! I wish I coulda been there. I haven't changed anything except my filter is different and the new VP-44 and PE 4200. Maybe that would've been enough. Oh well. At least it wasn't a Ford. Say, how close was the nearest Ford anyway? And how did those fellas do with the Cummins converted Chevy's do? What were the prizes this time through? Just curious. Anyone get videos and pics?



Congrat's to Kennedy are due though. He has taken the Dmax to it's limits for sure. Great for him and good work. Congrat's again JK.

Jim has a lot of video of the dyno's. Revin Evan lost his "good" turbo fri so was running a back up and put down a little less than last year I think in the 370's way more fuel than he could burn, Rich put down somewhere around 380 to 90. I don't remember a ford up very high at all but there could been one I think Jim and John have the list video taped. There was not an official prize presentation so I don't know what Kennedy got for first but I got a sweet B-D jacket and K & S denam shirt for second, not sure what was given down the line.

Congrat's on placing second. That's still not too bad. And the second place prizes aren't too bad. Hey, at least you'll get to use them. So far all I've used has been the jacket I won and the hat. Although I've since traded my Wyotech hat for a DHRA one. (on edit-Got to use the gift cert today. ) Congrats again.

Say, there is a rumor on the GM site that you were on drugs. Tell me that isn't so. I didn't think you'd resort to such a thing. Let me know, and I'll set them right.
