Bringing a 5th wheel back to the east coast

Would anybody be interested in bringing a 5th wheel back from The Phoenix, AZ. area. If not does anyone know of a reasonable, reliable transport company that can do this ? The destination would be Northern Virginia !

Still looking at the camper, it is a 32' 5th wheel, weight approximately 7500 lbs. I have found several agencies that will deliver it, but the cost is outrageous, somewhere between 80-90 cents a mile, which comes out to about $2000. That would wipe out any savings I would make on the deal, so it wouldn't be worth it.

Well, I'm making a trip to Lake Barkley from Phoenix, but I'll have a boat in tow. My buddy that is jumping in the truck is the proud owner of a '93 CTD. I could have him tow the boat and I could pull the 5'er behind the '01.

Oh, by the way, I just got my EZ today, and installed it. LOVE IT!!!!! Can't wait to do the trip with it!

Hey Guys (that's TDR'ers) why not set-up a relay for it? I'll pick it up from PHX and goto ???? on I40, then someone else will take it to another area. Right now I've got the week off so I could meet with Jeff where evers and trying to get this set-up with him but this might be another way to get the unit to him (if he's agreeable - it is his unit) and met each other.
The only way to get in touch with me (after tonite) will be thru my work e-mail (ben. stair@ssa.gov). Going to Laughlin and plan to leave there Tues/Wed, depends on when Jeff needs me to pick it up. Then plan to drive till I meet up with him.
We just need to get the routes setup for this to work. Just another one of my "wild/bad" ideas.
On the other hand, this could work for any of us in the future when we need to assist each other.
