I know this has been discussed but my searches are not working very well. With all my mods (see sig) my pyro is up to and over 1300*. What is my easiest and cheapest way to bring them down? I do a good bit of towing and run with the box off when doing so or I would probably melt it down. I know an HX40 would solve the problems but really don't want to spend the money. Any suggestions are appreciated. (Also keep in mind a PM3 is on the way and I am selling the JVD. ) Thanks Dshawhan

Personally, even though I don't have experience in that area yet (soonly though), I'd say the PDR HX-40 is THE ONLY way you're going to drop your EGT's... more air in + more air out = lower temps. Simple as that.

PS, only 1300*? Wish I could say that :rolleyes: :{

1350 is the highest I have seen but that was when i looked after dumping throttle, not sure exactly how high it was. I have a feeling that an HX40 is in my future

I have the same problem.

I put on an AFE Intake System; it helped on the ET’s about 150 degrees. And mileage 1+ mile per.

Any Turbo

Just about any turbo change is going to drop your EGT. This assumes you go larger of course. A Switzer, Garrett, or whatever.
