Brite Box with Fog Light Control

I installed the Brite Box with Fog Light Control on my 04. 5. One thing that I noticed is that with the fog lights off and my brites on the fog lights come on. Is this the way it is suppose to work? I don't know if this is legal or not. I thought that they would only be on with the fog lights on. I thought that I could run the brites and the dimms would stay on not the fog lights also, unless I turn them on.

I had one on my 04 and when you put the high lights on the low lights are on and the fog lights are on too. I think they have a model that just turns the low lights on with the high beam no fog lights or at least they did back in 04 when I ordered mine from them. I never had any problem with it here in Texas. I don't think you will.

That is how fog light control works. If you don't want them on with highbeams disconnect the fog lights from the bright-box and hook them back up factory.

Ok thanks, I thought that they would only come on when I chose the fog lights to on position with dim and bright. I like them on I was just worried the law may not like it.
