I am looking at purchasing the Brite Box and am wondering what the genral concensus is on this piece of equipement. Does it really improve lighting? Is the improvement worth the $100 purchase?

Save $$$

You can do the same thing with a 30 amp relay, an inline fuse holder and some wire, plus a little of your time. And yes, having the low beams on in conjunction with your high beams makes a BIG difference.

On edit, if I had more education on this computer I could send you to the link on how to wire it. Perhaps someone could do this??

You would get much better results if you upgraded to the sport headlights. it is a little more money but you gain another set of bulbs and better lenses. :)

go for the suvlights.com wiring harness'

35 bucks each and you can get them made to power the lows with high's just like the brite box.

AND you get power right from the battery!

WAY brighter!

Go for the sport light's

I had the bright box for about 3 years before it quit working. problem is it ONLY improves lighting when you have your high beams on. so it is of no help 80 or 90 % of the time. I'm in the process of putting on sport lights. In my opinion you can spend your 100. 00$ much better on something else.
