2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brite White (pw7)

Painted my tail light covers white to match my truck with the Dupli-color paint. I looked it up in the book at the parts store and I got the color that is to match my Brite White. After painting and installing the covers it seems the paint is a yellowish white compared to the truck.



I went to a different parts store to verify the color I bought and it is correct.





Has anyone else noticed this with aftermarket paint? I would have thought the original paint would have maybe yellowed a little not the other way around.

You probably should have used grey primer on the origional black plastic, then painted white. Haven't had much luck covering a dark color with a light color directly.

I have since repainted them with the same color and they are still a different color. Could it still be the primer?
