Broke truck in

Well i finally rolled up my first 100,000 miles on my truck sunday, so i guess it is finally broken in.

The 275's and edge E-Z have been in for the last 40,000 miles, i just did not want to advertise that fact. I don't know how anyone could drive a stock truck. Horsepower is like money, too much is almost enough.

With 100K miles on the engine, before you think about bombs you should overhaul the bottom end. New Main and rod bearings are a good start.

Yeah, have the rods shot-peened and x-rayed too. They're kinda fragile.

I guess i will wait till i smoke the clutch before i turn it up any more. The poor old truck won't hardly get out of it's own way now. Last week on my way back from the Mopar nats i wasn't passing the slow trucks in the right lane as fast as i did before. I changed to a taller tire before i left(305-70-16) and could only muster about 85 uphill pulling my car.
