I recently bought a 91. 5 w250 with the cam broke off behind the first bearing journal. The previous owner had the timing cover taken off already. The KDP is still in place but there is a bolt gone out of the gear case above the crank gear so I assume that is what broke it. I have the head pulled off to get checked out and there were a few bent push tubes and broken lifters so I will replace all of them. I don't see a crack in the gear case or any damage to the block but was wondering if there were any specific spots to check. I don't want to overlook something while it is apart. Thanks for any advice.

( I also plan on selling this truck when it is done, it is white with a flat bed, all stock, 120,000 miles and the body is very clean and rustfree. PM me if anyone is interested)

Thanks again,

Matt

I watched that truck on e-bay and was very interested in it, just didn't want to go that high on a bid not knowing for sure what it would take to fix it. Randy

I was a little unsure about it myself but I have another motor that I was going to put in it if needed. The truck is in better shape than I expected. It looks like it won't be too bad too fix, I just want to make sure I don't miss anything.
