My 91 just quit. The fuel pump was not pumping. With the fuel pump off you could see the cam was not turning when starter was engaged. Took the timing cover off and the cam pulley had a wobble. The cam had broken right behind the front bearing. One of the bolts with 10mm head that is right behind the cam pulley had come out. It broke two teeth on the cam pulley and spun the crankshaft gear on the crank. I called Cummins and the person that I talked to said he had seen quit a few with this symptom. He said it probably bent the push rods also since I was going down the road when it happened. I hadn't seen anything like this listed on TDR. But it is something to check when anybody does the KDP fix. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
