Howdy folks, truck is a 2016 CTD 2500. Yesterday, when I went to release the e-brake, the cable attachment on the back of the handle broke off meaning you can't release the brake with the handle. You can still release the brake by reaching under the dash and pulling on the cable.

The truck is still under warranty, but I thought if I could fix it for a few bucks I'd save the hassle of leaving it with the dealer.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for all the info. Looks easy to replace. Like I said, it's under warranty but if I can replace it for a few bucks, I would.

Seems like a fairly common issue.
