Broken fog lamp unit

Anybody out there know of a way to protect fog lamps from rocks? Luckily the rock just hit the left fog light and not the windshield. Dealer wants $125. 00 for new light, as you can't just buy a replacement lens.

fill in a signature so we all know what type of truck you are wanting to protect the fog lights on... i know of some that have used the 3m invisiable bra clear plastic tape stuff on the lenses with suscess, or something with a wire guard could be rigged up...
