Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
First snow of the year and I was having some fun doing some overdrive donuts 
in the ice rink parking lot. could only get 4th gear while doing donuts in 4 wheel drive. But any way needless to say I was grabing gears a little on the hard side (but not any harder than I usually do while speed shifting) and my shift lever actually broke off from the trans :--) . It accually was nice enough to wait untill I got home went inside for a minuet, came back out and the thing fell off in my hand. 
I welded the nut on the shifter to the part that comes out of the trans and all is well but I was wondering if any body else has done this. I think, I mean hope 
that the transmission guy over tightened the shifter when they put the clutch in and that started to shear it off. Just thought I'd share that with you guys, someone has to get a laugh about it.

anybody got a deal on a line lock solinoid so I can shift gears without moving forward?
