The seat belt receiver came off in my hand when I went to plug it in a few days ago. Has anyone seen this failure before? I'm sure glad I didn't have an accident as this must have been ready to break for some time. The truck is a one owner with just over 99k on it, never been in an accident. This part is no longer available new from any source I could find. I picked up several used from a local wrecking yard and installed the best one. The drivers and passenger front are both the same part.

If you haven't seen a clean one owner 2nd Gen with less than 100k on it for a while, I took this photo 2 weeks ago.

Another thanks for the heads-up. I have my seats partly out, so I am going to have a look. The club cab (like mine) seat belts anchor differently, but it's still something to check out.
