2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brolin Radio Mount

Has anyone mounted the Brolin Radio Mount in a truck that has the rear seat cup holder mounted under the center seat? It appears that the Brolin mount makes contact with the cup holder. Besides removing the cup holder, how did you mount the radio bracket?

Going from memory, as truck is at home, bolted right up to front seat bolts as noted in the directions he provided with no inteference with rear cup holder on a 2000.

The only thing I did different was to put self adhering black door edge molding around the edges of the bracket to finish it off a little more, and provide a little protection from the metal edge.

I had no probelm with mine either it mounted right up. However I must admit I have never been in the backseat much less use the cupholder. So if it interferes with its operation no one who has been back there has spoken up about it

No problems with rear cup holder interference here. Brolin makes an excellent product. Have both my Galaxy and scanner mounted to mine.

does anyone know where to get a bracket for the front?. . i just have a reg. cab and looking for something similar but in front where i can see it. tired of having a $2000 radio sitting in my closet cause i dont want to mount to my dash.
