Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Now, my girlfriend, mom, and brother all have Audis. 3 years ago my brother bought a 95 Quattro 90 5-speed Sedan, last model year before the "A4" introduction. My mom bought a 99 A6 2. 8 Tiptronic Avant (Wagon) in September last year and my girlfriend bought an 01 A4 2. 8 5-speed Sedan in October.
My brother went out Saturday and bought himself another car. It's an 01 S4 2. 7 Bi-turbo 6-speed Sedan. He is going to sell his 95 privately.
Holy crap, that thing is pretty fast! I have ridden in faster trucks, but for a stock car, it's pretty dang cool. Once the turbos light it rocks! The 2. 8 A4 is fast but the 2. 7T is faster. I love it! I got to drive it up I-25 through Denver to the REI flagship store last night.
One neighbor, whose garage is next to mine has an 03 A4 3. 0 Tiptronic but he said he wishes he had an S4 too.
One of our other neighbors (apartment complex) with an 03 Mitsubishi Evolution, lowered, wing, all the "Fast and the Furious" stuff came over when I was checking it out. He liked it. Even though his car makes 340 HP at the wheels, so he says, I would take German engineering and the "measely" 250 HP S4 anyday!
