Brush guards and front receiver hitches

Question for those of you who have Draw-tite front receiver hitches and brush guards: Which brush guards are you using? I found out the hard way that a Manik is not compatible with the front receiver... they both want to hook into the same place on the frame. I'm now shopping for a quality brush guard (i. e. "deer strainer")that is compatible with the rec hitch. Thanks.

I'm curious as to what Manik you are using for the 2001. After a great deal of research, I finally thought I had found a quality brush guard, as made by Manik. However, there are slight differences in the 2001 frame--so they claim. They keep telling me that they will have the new mounting system available in 6-weeks. We are now going on 6-months, and I think that I am going to give up on Manik once and for all--their customer service is the ****s! It's too bad, as they seem to have a real good product.

I am going custom baby!!! I can make it cheaper, better, and tougher and I will definately be satisfied. My old fjord had my best creation to date on it. You could hang the whole truck by that baby, and did. Maybe if I find a picture of it I will post it. That will be hard to beat. But custom is the way to go. #ad
