Don't bother bidding on it, I already bought it plus tipped him an extra $100. 00. I know, I know, it's for a 2003 and will not fit my '06 but I do not plan to install it anyways. If it got him 25 it is bound to help me for a few mpg just riding in the back seat. :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf

He must be checking his mileage using the overhead computer while rolling downhill. If you reset it at the top of the hill every time, you will easily average 25 mpg every time you go down a hill :-laf

I've been able to hit 99mpg on my Jeep doing that. haha.

The sad part is the guy was doing so good until he got tothe 25mpg part. I wonder how many potential buyers he turned off with that crap. I almost feel sorry for the poor sucker that buys it thinking he's never gonna fill up again.

BS ' o meter

there are people who claim 27 mpg empty here on the TDR... not to mention claims of pumping 41+ gallons into the stock tank... ebay just has more people so theres more exageration I guess!

Is the BS phenomenae more prevalent in the diesel truck community or what?

Hey now, i don't know about 41, but personally i have pumped 38 into my short bed many times, i figure with the vent mod my tank must hold 40. :D

I don't think I've ever hit the 40gal mark, but I've been well over the advertised 35gal many times. The in-tank pump pulls from further down and I fill up at home with the left front sitting higher than the rest... no went mod needed.
