I was on my way home last night and it started bucking and jerking for the first time. I disconnected the batts and did the APPS reset this morning and drove it 15 miles without missing a beat. I've had the stumble/hesitation for about a month now and that was the first time it ever bucked.

Since it runs near perfect after resetting the APPS does that mean that it's the APPS or could it still be something else. It felt like somebody was playing with the ON-OFF switch last night. She runs good now but it will probably return soon. Oh yeah, I can't pull FP below 12psi. Thanks Clay

Kind of sounds like an electrical interference problem. Driving at night, lights on etc. More of a load on the alternator. Just a thought. Could try cleaning Batt. connections, grounds etc.

Clean all the electrical connections on the APPS. That requires cleaning the ECM plug and the plug on the bottom of the APPS. Clean with a good quality electronics cleaner and pack with di-electric grease. Leave the batteries disconnected overnight then recalibrate the APPS. You can also dissasemble the APPS housing and spray down the actual sensor, just do not dissasemble the actual electronics, they are calibrated tolerances and adjusting will ruin them.

Also, check for any codes, if it is an apps, you will see something like a p0122 or p0121. Hopfully you do not see a p1689.
