:)Thought I would follow up and report my experience.

I have always had a bucking when under load with any type of fuel/timing adding divice. It was not evident unless towing trailers.

Here is what I have found.

With the smarty on fuel only I have no bucking.

When on timing settings and towing I have bucking.

So when I tow I set it on mild catcher and truck runs flawlessly. :) Better that it has ever ran.

Truck will also build more boost than with other non pump wire tapping devices that I have tried.

I first installed a Fass thinking that it may have a fuel delivery proplem. It did not cure any problems. However I think the truck runs quieter and smother.

So if you are on the fence with this type of problem the smarty took care of my problems. I can't say it will help yours but it did take care of mine. . Great product.

Too much base timing, several of us are affected by this. I placed a potentiometer in parallel with the IAT sensor to fool it into pulling out some timing. It's especially noticeable in colder temperatures. With my EZ I don't have access to a fuel-only program and I believe the EZ has more aggressive timing than the Smarty's w/timing programs. I was fine until I added bigger injectors which add their own measure of timing advance. Combined with the EZ it was too much and would buck when pulling. IAT fooler fixed it :) At least until I replace the EZ with something else...
