(I searched under "bucking" and do not think I found a good answer in current posts. )

At lockup and around 65 m. p. h, and under full throttle, my 94 bucked. This happened about 3 or 4 times of testing. Backing off the throttle stopped the problem. This also happened when pulling my 8x16 PACE trailer under heavy load when accelerating.

Of course, when I got a friend to ride with me it did not show this problem. My friend thinks it may have been some water in the fuel. Any thoughts?

Thanks...

I had a problum that might be some thing to check for , going in & out of lockup , found that my brakepeddle and the switch were right at the point that if I hit a little bump in the road that was enough to turn the lockup off, I adjusted the sw. mnt. and problum is gone , just a possibilty.

I think this might fix what you're describing. It did on my truck. Big tires and a fuel plate make it worse. 3. 54 rear end gears are the worst but this is also noticable on the 4. 11 geared trucks.

A '95 PCM (the right number that can be reflashed) or the updated '94 replacement unit will raise the O/D shift and T/C lock up points to get out of the bucking you describe. I had a place find me a replacement from a wreccked truck, a good $100 investment!

Fule filter changed in May/ 05. 9k since then. Problem SEEMS to have disappeared. No noticable water in fuel when bleeding filter. Also replaced screen in pump (and new pump)... .
