Archived bucks driving down road

Occasionally bucks severely like full throttle then full stop, bangs driveline badly, connected to erratic guages, flashing airbag light, flashing ABS light, tach & speedo jumping. the action only lasts half second. But am going to be pulling trailer back from Katrina Land in Mississippi and am worried what it will do to driveline.

You didn't just wash the truck ? A wet connection at a wiring junction right behind the front drivers wheel well gets soaked you get all kids of goofy things with the gauges abs and other lights on the dash, also over head concole showes "CCD" . I had it happen onec, Pilled the conector apart, washed it out with WD40, all was well

Well this is what mine has been doing since new. So know all about it. But not so on how it fix it. Going to take it in and have the rear diff looked at in a couple of weeks. It is also hard on the trans and transcase! It would have been so good to find a re&re boy at a dollarshop when I got it that could acknowledge it and fixed it under warranty!!!!!!!!



What is happening is the fuel shutoff isn't closing and or bleeding off fuel to be pressurized for injection. This happens at the speed of a transistor operating so it is toooo complacated for cumins and cryslurr shops. Have you had any form of electrical changes or problems maybe with the PCM?????? This is suspect for me but not going to waste $$ 1400. 00 plus for a possable maybe again. MIne will buck now going down a 10 % hill so I have to be on the throttle all the time to change the fuel seting. Over the years I have been told that the load is too light but it still bucks going up a 12 % GRADE AT 2200 rpm. So go figure. I have some copies of what the wave forms look like that go to the vp-44 if you like. I have and arc at the PDC but don't think that it is from there. PM me is you like. Hope it goes away for you.
