I'm new to the board (but I have been meaning to join for some time).

Anyway, I have a Buckstop front bumper and Warn winch on order and should be receiving those within a couple of weeks to install on my '07 3500. I did a search on the forum and found some info on folks installing Buckstop bumpers on earlier model Rams with 5. 9 CTD's, however, I didn't see anything more recent for anyone installing one on an '07 or '08 Ram with a 6. 7 CTD. Has anyone done this?

I ask, as it seems from looking at my Dodge service manual on CD, that there is unfortunately more to dropping the stock front bumper than just undoing a few easily accessible bolts. For my '07 3500 with a 6. 7L CTD, it looks like you have to potentially remove the charge air cooler (for the turbo), some A/C system components, and possibly even the transmission cooler. For a 5. 9 CTD equipped Ram, it looks like all that was required was to loosen-up the intercooler and shift it around a bit to get to all of the stock bumper bolts. Can anyone confirm the extra work required for a 6. 7?

Thanks in advance,
Don

its all the same... we have a custom built t-rex replacement front and rear bumper on a truck on the showroom, a topgun front bumper on another 6. 7l on the lot, and there is no additional work than on a 5. 9
