Buddy has a Ford problem

He has a 2000 7. 2 l with 30,000 miles on it. The truck went into a paint shop for 6 weeks and was moved everyday. When he dropped it off it would start fairly soon. Now it will turn over quite a while before it starts. Any ideas, other then buy a Cummins?

maybe it has been cranked over so many times and not allowed to run long enough to recharge that the batteries are at low voltage. If a Furds voltage drops far enough they will just plain quit running. (found on the road dead). Why does it take 6 weeks to paint a Ford?

Sounds to me like the batteries are low. If tehy won't hold a charge anymore, they will leave him stranded soon.



Are these the OE Batteries? Time to be replaced anyway if they are.

is it possible a glow plug, glow plug relay or glow plug controller has problems?



these things do have history of failure.
