I stopped by Diesel Power Products today to shoot the breeze with Dave for awhile and we started talking exhaust on the '03s. He's done a little research and found that a 4" Ford PSD SD intermediate pipe and whatever muffler you want can be patched in between the downpipe and tailpipe section relatively easily. It lines up properly and fits in there nice. After connecting to the 3. 5" downpipe it will result in a 4" the rest of the way to the tailpipe.

Would it work on second generation

Interesting combination, would it work on a second generation. Find a wreck ford and go stainless. A lot of 4 inch dowm pipes about.

I'm not sure JBlock, but I guess there is more of an offset with exhaust entry/exit of the stock muffler compared to the 2nd Gen and the PSD pipe has the correct angles to make the offsets close enough to patch into place on the 3Gs.

MMeier, let's keep this our little secret! ;)

Mark, you use the Dodge tailpipe. I'm talking about using the Ford intermediate pipe, the one between the turbo downpipe and muffler, then the Dodge tailpipe from there.

Try reading the first post again ;) :p :p
