bug or me?

Why do I have to keep re-entering my username / password? I didnt have to before. I have overrode automatic cookie handeling and have IE6 set to prompt me for cookies, I havnt yet been asked to allow a cookie.

Try putting the TDR in as a trusted site and see what happens. Do you have some internet security software that could be blocking cookies before it even gets to your browser? Something like Zonealarm or one of the Internet security suites? It's possible that the old softwares cookie was on your machine before you installed something blocking them and therefore didn't have a problem until the new software. If you have one of those try disabling it and see what happens.

No joy. Tried making the TDR a trusted site too. No internet security software of any kind except antivirus stuff. Worked before without entering a username each time. IE 6. 0 & Win 2000.



Any suggestions?

I found a note on the vB support site where this has happened to others when their cookies are corrupted. Try clearing the cookies in your browser and then restarting your machine. In every case I found on the support site this solved the problem.
