303 Protectant toutes its product for use on fibreglass to protect the gelcoat from UV rays thereby preventing the yellowing and chalking that seems inevitable. They also say bugs won't stick to treated fibreglass. Has anyone tried 303 on their gelcoat front end and found the bugs don't stick? Happy camping everyone.

So far I've just been trying to keep it waxed. If you try the 303, let us all know how it works.

Happy camping to you too, we're heading to SoCal in just over a week with the camper!! Enough snow for me for the year!!:)

Yup we are headed for Gulf Shores in four weeks. We are sick of winter too.

It would be worth using just to keep the bugs from sticking. If it prevents UV damage of the gelcoat that would be even better.

I used 3M boat wax with UV inhibitor in it on my old trailer and while it looked good after 7 years, there was still some yellowing and fading. I am hoping the 303 will retard the effects of the sun better. I use the stuff on my dash, tonneau etc and it seems to work well. I just never used it on fiberglass before.

Can't wait to get the rig out of storage. Oo.
