I have the Lund Stainless Steel Interceptor on my 2005. I used it without the supplied headlight pieces because I did't like the way those looked, and I thought that the lines on the truck made them unnecessary. Lund supplies large, heavy duty sheet metal screws that tap into existing stock holes under the hood. They work fine, however I decided to use 1/4" x 3/4" stainless cap bolts wit stainless nylocks because I am into functional overkill. I got the cap bolts from a steel supplier. They are like a carriage bolt, with a torx head recess in the center of the head. While they also supply large and small rubber bumpers that you can use to stabilize the shield, I did not install them because the shield is so stiff (it's stainless steel) and sure enough it barely ever slightly flutters a little (<1/16") even at highway speeds and on bumpy roads. I like that, because I didn't have to stick any adhesive on the truck. Also, I recommend pulling the stock Rams head logo off the grill top and then reattaching it to the bugshield if you want; My truck is entirely debadged. except for the ram head on the stainless steel shield, and my friends think it looks great. That all said, I also have seen the chrome/acrylic mopar shield with rams head on some trucks and it also looks good, but I am sure the stainless will be more far durable then the chrome acrylic. It also is taller and has more flare to it than the mopar shield and it does an excellent job deflecting bugs from my windshield, even without the headlight pieces. Wow, that sure is a mouthful about bugshields. Hope it helps.
