With time on the extreme end of short for me it's time to ask. What all of a sudden (From last time parked to hoping in and trying to go to the store 1/2 hour later) would cause loss of all forward gears? When eased into drive it takes a good 40 seconds to slowly and lazily drop into gear. then when shifted into neutral it hangs in drive and slowly slips out.

Fluid level (Royal Purple) is fine and only 8-10K old. Fluid looks clean and does not smell burnt. See sig for trans details.

Get in touch with your trans builder, it may have blown a seal on the rear clutch. Also could be in the VB.

+1 on the VB... sounds like something's sticking in there. I rebuilt a TH350 once and beefed up the VB, and there was a piece of crud in there that escaped me. Piston in the VB kept hanging up and would not shift right, but I did have reverse np.
