Want to change the left headlight bulb, but anyone know how to move the fuse tray out of the way without breaking anything off? Got the bolt and screw off, and unhooked the two tabs from the battery tray. According to the manual, you're supposed to move the fuse tray towards the engine so you can reach in behind and access the bulb . Yeah right... . !

Didn't even know you could do it that way. Seems it would be faster to just pull the lamp bucket out to access the bulb.

Go to the "Brite Box" home page and check under "Installation Tips" for "model SD7" it will give you the instructions with diagrams for removing the complete Head Light Module to access the bulb.

Yea just remove the whole headlight bucket--like 3 torx screws. Also replace the side marker light while you have it apart.

The factory manual says to pull the entire headlight assembly out. I think that there are 4 screws that hold it in. Since I have brush guards on my grille guard making it impossible to pull the headlight assembly assembly without first removing the brush guards, I've found that by loosening the rubber mud guard in the wheel well, you can push it aside enough to remove the bolt that holds the horn onto the frame. You can then access the headlight from underneath the truck. It's a tight fit, but it can be done. I know it sounds like a pain, but it's a bigger pain to try take the brush guards off. However, if I ever have to change a front turn signal lamp, I won't have a choice.
