I installed a Bully Dog Torque Dog adjustable box in my 2003

Quad cab4X4 stock setting1 no change as expected. (setting 2) I towed my 6200# bayliner cruiser with an additional 1000# of gear from MI to WV 600+ miles . The power is incredible Going up WV turnpike 5%-7% at 75 to 80 mph!The only limiting factor was exhaust temp on long 7% grade I had to back down to 65 to keep

below 1000 degrees (post turbo pyro). Setting 3 will throw you back in the seats hard and send up a cloud of black smoke. Dealer doesn't reccomend towing on 3!I weighed my truck full of fuel at 7440 on truck stop scales. On trip with boat 14990#. I purchased in Michigan @ $725+ tax. My truck stock exhaust stock intake

6 speed manual. Cummins 305 HP H. O.

B-DOG ADJUSTABLE BOX, AMAZING POWER

nukeworker,

glad ya likin the box. ive got the same box and it makes my ram a totally diffferent rig. it is amazing

i use the low[mid setting[ for most uses and never use hi for towin. in fact hi doesnt get used a whole bunch, just when i want to play and whup a ford in a race with even a greatr speed differential. :D

on low it seems my mpg is increased due to the timing change. also egt is managable. on hi i gotta keep an eye on the pyro but it aint real bad considering the pwr ya have. speakin of pwr,,,,,,,,, an 03 at the bdog dyno day did right at 450hp with nuthin more than a bullydog box for fueling mods and stock turbo

btw,,,,,,,,,,,,if i was you id change pyroprobe to pre-trbo

oh,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and welcome to the siteOo.

They do both. on level one it has 30hp from timing and 30 from pressure. On level 2 it is both pretty heavy. I wouldn't suggest running around on level two for very long. I don't know of any problems but, I wouldn't want to be the first guy. I run mine pretty hard most of the time. When I took a trip last week I got 16. 5 mpg. That was up from 12. 6 the week prior without the box. Power is up from the ez considerably on the higher level. I can honestly say that the dyno numbers must be close. My 2001 had close to 450 HP and I don't think it was much faster than the 2003.

cool

My 2001 had 385 rwhp and 899. 8 tq, with DD1 and Edge Comp. That thing ran a 14. 26 at 93. 3 mph, with 315/75/16, 3. 54 gears and a 5 speed. My new truck has 3. 73 gears and 5 speed and 315/70/17, so if this box makes 450 rwhp and the clutch holds, WOW. Can't wait. My AFE air filter kit is on the way, and I've got a DPP 4 inch exhaust, I'm ready. Now I just need the Bully Dog box. I tried to get one last week, but they weren't for sale to the public yet. So How did ya'll get one? I want one super bad. I gotta go racing this weekend. I will post times.

Any of ya'll run them at the strip yet?

BTW, I street raced a young kid in a Ford Probe GT yesterday with my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee, blew him away. He didn't pull beside me again, he turned at the next intersection. I can't wait to do this in my truck.

I picked mine up at Vacationland Accessories. Three rivers Michigan

Jamey the owner told me that the Dyno

Results on a stock truck were 269 HP and 405hp on the high setting. I didn't ask if it was Auto or 6

speed. Also he said Bully dog tamed the middle setting down a little from the prototype it was nearly 90 before final production

Now around 75Hp on middle. And from dyno appears around 135

on High. Good Luck, Bill
