Archived Bully Dog Help!! truck will not start

I just recieved a Bully Dog Power Pup for my friends 05, and when we went out to install it we plugged it in to the port with the key off and immediatly the pup came up in recovery mode, it told us that the program has been erased and to unplug the batterys which we did and let sit then power back up and try again, but it just does and says the same thing, worst part is that the truck will not start now. Oh and also I noticed at the bottom of the screen on the pup it does not show the correct vin and I purchased this new from Bully Dog. Any help would be greatly appreciated to atleast get this thing started again. Mike

I'm no expert but maybe your not leaving the battery unplug long enough to clear the codes. I've seen some peaple say they had to leave it unplugged for a few hours and a few have left them unplugged over night. Sorry not much help but maybe give it a little longer.
