Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I also got in on the group buy for the Power Pup. Installed over the weekend, hooked up my 18' cargo utility and headed for the Adirondacks!!
At first, I thought I was shipped the wrong downloader as the box says 03-04. However, the receipt says 03-04. 5. I got burned in the past when buying an exhaust so I specifically questioned if this would fit my 600 engine. Salesman said yes. Not listening to the rational voice in my head, I connected the power pup and uploaded the code (yes, I tried extreme first Oo. ). Turned out to be pretty wild! I also love the mosquito smoke screen when pulling down low.
Now that the newness has worn away, does the downloader really cover 03 to 04. 5 with the '600'????
I always thought the 600 code was different since it has that dreaded longer 3rd injection event. If not, is Bully Dog adding the third event to the 03s? Or turning it of for the 04. 5? Something doesn't add up here????
