Bully Dog Power Pup or Edge EZ?

thinking about a little more towing power and better fuel mileage. i have tried the quadzilla xzt but the 2 i tried both set codes. I want something that works and i dont have to screw with once it's in. I also dont want the dealer to be able to detect it was on even if i remove it.

I had the Quad race box on my 2004 and had code issues(P0192-P0237) on a regular basis after a few months of use and I still don,t know why. I had everything checked by my local diesel shop as well as myself. I bought the BD power pup with the outlook monitor earlier this week,so far so good,no codes yet. coobie.

I am very happy with the triple dog. Truck is running great on tow setting. Very smoth With the timing. Hope mileage picks up to soon to tell. The higher setting are very nice too they seem to hit smoother.

I was told by a diesel tech that's not possible, if they bother to check. Any mod that interacts with the ECM is detectable, even if it's removed.

I can install or unisntall my SP Diesel box in 10 minutes. 15 if I take a smoke break in the middle.

You're asking about two totally different type of products. For dealer "stealth" you have to go with the EZ, if you un plug it there are no codes or anything that can PROVE you did something, with any brand of Programmer you can have dealers that are really gooooood that can be able to detect that you had a programmer installed at one time or another. Plus the Power Pup or Triple Dog is a much higher powered product as compared to the EZ, so that isn;t a fair comparision etc. You also have the van aaken plug in modules that you can get that are as undectable as the EZ, they have a mild and warmer HP box for the 2003+ trucks.

what about the rokktech sensor ? alone or with a box? which one is best for mileage and towing ... no racing
