i was wondering if anyone is running this with a G56 transmission? if so how is the trans handling the new power?

No direct experience, but I suspect that you won't have any problems.



People are pushing the NV5600 way beyond the torque input specs with no catastrophic failures. Like the NV5600, the clutch (and DMF in the case of the G56) are the suspect weak links.

580Nm, or about 425 ft/lbs. But Mercedes puts them into trucks pumping 498 ft/lbs. Here is a thread with a lot of info on the G56. It's rated about where the NV4500 is rated, and there's many people exceeding its rating too.

Plenty of people running the Edge products in G56 trucks without problems. Makes me think yours will do fine.

Ive got the Triple dog (Crazy Larry) with the mp-8 and have been beating the truck and no failures yet besides the clutch is hating life The G56 has been great so far and the fact that you can speed shift it makes it nice when your racing.
