Bully pup & transmission

Do I need to upgrade my transmission (48) if I install the Bully Dog Pup and use it on the lowest setting? This would be used just for towing light boat trailer with camper on truck.

Shouldn't, but remember to take it off when you take it in for sevice. Their are plenty of guys running boxes with stock trannys.

P-Bar's right, even TDR issues 47 & 48 say the stock transmission is good to 350 hp on their performance box write-up's.

Does that mean at the wheels or is that at the flywheel?



If it is at the wheels that is better.

I believe that was at the rear wheels, becuase all their testing was done on a dyno for the boxes. I'll double check tonight unless someone chimes in sooner.
