Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Bully TORQUE Dog stumbling @ 2000 rpm

I just bought a used Bully Dog Tourque Dog and towed 10,000lbs to TX. everything was fine... . now it "stumbles "empty truck" between 1,500-2,000rpm if I hold the throttle in one spot. It will go past it and run fine.

Has anyone else had this problem?

THANKS in advance for ANY info..... I did wash under the hood the other day. Also this in either of the 2 HP settings, stock setting does fine.

that's a wonder that is does it on the two other then stock. the timing pos. you can hardly feel anything. the fueling pos. is a little different. I haven't noticed anything like you mention, but i have the switch on stock most of the time due to the big nozzles and a stock clutch :{
