BTW The mach 2's and up EDM's will be on sale in the month of December (100. 00 OFF)

Check the TDR Classifieds for details

What I have seen with the EDM's... you would be able to run the Mach 2. 5's with that 40 with no problems. .

I know this because I have a friend that is running a PDR HX35/14, TSTPowerMax3 with remote and a set of the Mach 2. 5's

i mainly tow machinery, i have a landscaping company and often tow goosneck trailer maybe 12k or so... but mainly just round town... .

i had Bully Dog 3's on my 01 and loved them!! i had a comp also , great set-up. with the comp you can tune out most of the smoke or you can tune in enough smoke stop people from tailgating:-laf

used this technique quite a few times. :D

i think i will end up with the dd3s i can get a set for 450$ brand new. i know this is off topic, but i am worried about modidifying my truck to this next level, mainly about the injection pump and the fuel system and the longevity of the motor. can anyone put my mind at ease?

There are no guarantee's in bombing. More power equals shorter engine life. But these engines are built to last,so I would not worry about it too much. I don't think injectors tax a injection pump that much but my feeling is a big fueling box will so it depends on if you have a good pump or not. by the way I have BD II's and they don't smoke much at all.

You also have an ez, if what I read on here is correct you will need transmission upgrades also. The III's I have smoke more with the comp turned off than on 1x1. or ez setting 1.

I'd be more worried about the transmission than the motor longevity.

The EDM's are supposed to control smoke and EGT's also.

I need suggestions on injectors for my 2001 ETH. I currently have Bosh 275's, EZ, straight exhaust, BHAF and all gauges. I have a clutch upgrade coming and started thinking if my clutch will handle more power, why not upgrade the injectors?? My pickup is used for towing, no drag racing, sled pulling etc... Would it be worthwhile for me to upgrade to DDII's, BDII's or EDM's from the 275's and if so, which route is best for towing? Smoke isn't an issue for me, I just want useable power for pulling a load without having major EGT problems.

Thanks for the help.

Do you tow in any hills? Or just on the flat?

I do alright with III's on the flat but I have to down shift on longer hills if the load is above about 6k.

The EDM's are "supposed" to run cooler, but I don't have any personal experience with them so couldn't say.

I think 275's are about 40hp, so II's would give you another 40hp. If you are willing to upgrade your turbo, you could go quite a bit bigger.

But for plain towing a lot of guys swear by the II's and an ez.
