If you make sure that the Bully Dog program is removed from the old truck, put back to stock, then the programmer can then be used on another. The main thing is to not try and program a second truck when the Bully Dog has already been uploaded to another. In other words it can only be used on one truck at a time. When it is uploaded to a truck, it downloads the trucks original truck program to the Bully Dog. Therefore if trying to program another truck in this situation, you will screw everything up!
I have the Bully Dog Triple Dog, it can be used on Dodge, Ford or Chevy. Multiple years too. I believe you might have to do an update download to the unit from Bully Dog's website before trying to change between mfg's. You could call Bully Dog and ask questions. Their technical services dept is very knowledgeable and helpful.
So, to answer your question, yes you should be able to use it on another truck. Just take the proper precautions. I'm sure you will be happy with the results. It made my truck run really smooth with lots more power.
