So from what i have been looking up on all these forums on the internet both the watch dog and the CTS are junk for anyone who really needs gauges #@$%!

1. Boost is inaccurate

2. No Fuel pressure on Gen 2.

3. No transmission temp on Gen 2. NV5600

4. Lots of programming glitches!

5. EGT adapter is as much as 2 analog gauges!

Right there i think is 5 reasons not to buy EITHER if you have a smarty or any other kind of Chip/Programer!

What do you guys think?

I think that kinda sucks...

what about the edge programmer with the touch screen? Is it inaccurate as well?

Yes any one of the is going to be inaccurate the Edge juice with attitude is the same as the CTS except a few frilly alarms and a cool down timer and timing advance is the only difference for gauges at least I hate it all around I will for sure by gauges and will never buy or recommend Glow Shift gauges ever again they are throwing everyone i know for a loop with there ****TY gauges! #@$%!

I've used ordinary analog guages on all three of my Dodges since the first one was new. I've used DiPricol gauges from Geno's for the past six years. They are inexpensive to buy, simple to install, accurate, easily readable, and durable.

Well that's a bummer for sure. I used my H&S Black Maxx for monitoring egt, boost, coolant and trans temps - it was nice having them all instantly available (or the option to monitor about a dozen other things simply by hitting a few buttons) in one screen, instead of having to scan all over inside my cab looking for gauges. I was hoping for a similar setup for whatever truck I get next. I'd much rather keep my eyes on the road.

i would love to have digital gauges but not unless i can find something that i can trust and has sending units for Fuel, Boost, EGT, and Manual transmission

Just another reason to get the quad adrenaline!!

I think he said he wanted gauges he could TRUST for those readings. :-laf

Remember, the electronic gauges read from the ECU for a lot of the readings and we all know how accurate it is. Even Quads offering has been less than stellar in its performance.

Keep the important readings on a set of analogs and use the digitals to play with the others.

Had isspros for six months, quad is spot on.

I had analog guages before installing my Edge Juice W/Attitude so I have first hand info on how aacurate the Edge is. The edge Fuel pressure, boost and trans temp are spot on with my analog guages. Egt is 75 degrees cooler on the Edge when the analog guage reads 1000 degrees, {both run off the same probe}. I've had my edge for a few years now with on problems.
