Bump & no brakes

Need brake help. Most of the time they are good but if I hit a pothole, or other bump, while the brakes are applied, it seems to go into the RWAL

mode but pulses one time (release) & never reaplies the brakes but still have a hard pedal. The same thing will happen if I start a skid on wet pavement. Only after the pedal is released, do the brakes return to normal. The truck is a 95, 2500 automatic. thank you, jroach

Next time you encounter this, push harder on the pedal. That worked for me. It would seem like the ABS would kick out and then nothing. One day out of frustration, I pushed harder and they "hooked" up and pulsated like you would expect.

My truck does the same thing. Hit the brakes hard, it grabs one time then lets go. Only I have 4 wheel ABS. That's what I put it in the shop for, thus the "Dodge one up'd us" post.
