any of you fellas know what other model trucks a bumper would fit on for my W250 92'?

If not i have access to I-beam :-laf, which im thinking of using instead that way i can put tow hooks and chackles on that without any problem... Any thoughts?

Thanks guys. . i will have to ask a round for channel. . Well the reason i asked was i got to thinking, buy new bumper or go with something i have already laying around. . Here where i live in Va. our county as of a year or so ago had the highest Deer collision # in the state. The 92 has prior kills with deer, 2 to be exact and no damage... .

where in va do you live. here is a bumper i threw together one sunday afternoon in about an hour, simple, functional, strong, and not to bad looking, ill keep it till i build my ranchhand lookalike. 2 pieces of 1/4" angle iron welded into channel, then 2 pipes welded on the front of em.

South West part of the state, right on the VA/NC line.
I don't care what it is or how it looks as long as it stops deer. for now they are safe, since i can't drive yet.

I beam is ugly, use channel. I've seen a lot of decent looking bumpers made from channel iron.

Face one side of the I-Beam with plate and you have a stronger setup than channel. Add some 2" pipe for the grill guard and its will LAUNCH a deer on a nice trajectory. :-laf

Metal is expensive, a little creativity and that unused piece of iron can have a new useful existence. :)

that is the affect im after lol... dadburn things are like rabbits here. hopefully in the next weeks to come i can get a better idea, things don't come to me as easily so i have to write things down and come back later, very hard on my nerves. Hopefully that will go away and i can get to feeling normal again.
Thanks guys for your input.

i think thats what im going to do eventually i can get access to plate with no problem. does anyone have any ideas about adding weight to the bed without compromising hitchball... . this is far fetched but was thinking about forming concrete*boxout the hitch ball* across from each wheel well square prob. about 1 1/2 -2 inch thick. . The reason being if i go ahead with that front bumper im going to need something to level out the rear, as we all know they are light in the rear already. I figure with the concrete idea i can still have use of the bed for lumber etc... .

Well, a rear bumper to match the custom deer killer on the front is an idea. ;)

A Double tube 4-6" rear bumper then fill it with concrete should balance out the extra weight up front. Beef the mounts onto the frame and add some angle bracing from the outside of the bumper.

That should protect from the odd telephone pole and little cars that try to park under the rear. The extra weight out there should help with the ride also. :)

Might take a fork lift to mount it though. :-laf

Funny you mentioned that, i had a neighbor stop by to see how i was doing since i can't get out much and he had mentioned the same idea, just with one pipe, maybe one 6" pipe that for sure would help with the light rear.
