I'm gonna replace my rear factory bumper and receiver hitch with a heavy duty pipe bumper. I need to know if the bumper and hitch will fit on all 1994+ trucks so I can state that in the classified ad. What do you think would be a fair price to ask? Thanks.

Bull,

Should fit all trucks 94 and newer. If the bumper is very clean, $225. 00 is about the going rate around here. Not sure what the frame mounted hitch is worth.

Hot dog gitchesum! That's my kind of bumper! If I was a telephone pole I think I'd step aside when I'd see your reverse lights come on. #ad
I've put a pipe bumper on every truck I've owned. This is the first new truck that I've bought that has come with a bumper on it already, so I figured I could live with it. Well, I figured wrong. A good, heavy rear pipe bumper has many uses. It's the peace of mind knowing you don't really have to worry about telephone/light poles, concrete pillars, other vehicles (just kidding) etc. , etc. #ad
It also makes a dern good anvil.

Ooooo... .

That's beautiful!

I want one.

Especially since some idiot backed into my truck in the parking garage Friday (1,100 miles at the time). A perfect side hit at the edge of the left rear side of the bumper. Nice flat spot.

I'll be looking for the car with the U in the trunk. It shouldn't be hard to find.

Hay Gethesum:

Is that a Brown's Welding bumper? I have one on my 2500 and it's bad to the bone.

After being rearended by an AstroVan (totalled)I had to replace my rear bumper and hitch. After much searching on the web and local accessory shops I gave up on finding a solid but affordable "Western" bumper. I had an RV/OffRoad shop fabricate one for me out of 10" channel iron. It isn't real pretty but the next AstroVan won't even dent it. Cost ($550 Can)was reasonable as it included the hitch and recessed back-up lights. Bring on those tailgaters!

Yeah it is, got the bumper, brush guard and the running boards now. Got it covered on all sides now. I really like the running boards. Full-length with expanded metal top so you can wipe the mud off your boots before you get in.

Windrider, The company that makes them is called Browns Welding and Manufacturing. They are in New Braunsfeld, TX. I think the thing only cost around $400. 1-800-625-8712
They don't have a website or e-mail for that fact. From what I understand, it's a little hole in the wall Mom and Pop welding shop. They make an excellent product though.

I couldn't agree with you more gitchesum-top notch product at a reasonable price-$$$ less than some of the other bigger names in truck equipment. I've given them folks quite a few visits in the past. In fact, that's where I'm heading sometime this week for my bumper. As far as it being a hole in the wall, you hit the nail on the head. I'm not trying to knock the place, but it is somewhat smaller than I had expected-ain't real fancy neither (that's what I like about it). Very good people to work with though. Small-scale shop, but one helluva inventory.

Hey y'all:
How bout' a front veiw. That thing is sump-in else. Gotta have it. **** , so excited I can't hardly type.

Bull-

I have 97 with a bad (kinked) rear bumber. If your bumber is chrome, I'm really interested.

The reason I say chrome, is because some of the new trucks (sports) come with painted bumpers to match the truck.

Let me know if you want to sell it, and how much.

You can get my e-mail from my profile. Then I can call you.

Thanks
