Bumper turning black

Is anyone else's bumper turning black from exhaust, like mine is?? Will it help to extend the tip a few more inches? Any ideas? Just noticed it happening today. I hope it is not a fueling problem. Burning to rich?:{

My bumper & paint were turning Black also,from the Exhaust. I ordered the Megs stainless tip Part #0069-DG from geno,s garage. You can find it on this site in the links section. I really like mine,keeps the bumper and paint exhaust free now. coobie

I bought a nice chrome turn down from a trucking supply co. for $23. It works great and keeps the exhaust off my trailer as well.

Mine's doing it too. I'm going to get a turndown tip.

What do I do for an extended tip if I don't want a shiny one? My truck is a Sport so has no chrome.

Little Soap and Water will get that soot off if you don't let it set to long.
