You're right about not much of a race, single file, no passing, same was true in the twins and shootout, if your'e out front you are almost unpassable.

BUT, no way was it fixed, dont even think about that, how in the world do you convince 42 other teams that theyre not gonna win this weekend? Racing is not like baseball or basketball. No spread to cover its every man for himself. Look at the past 4 restrictor plate races. Jr. and Mikey ruled, and prior to that Big E was the man. RCR and DEI dominate the superspeedways, period.

All of it is rigged, NASCAR, BUSCH, all of it. If it was real racing you could run what you built, no matter how fast. Or however big the engine is or what configuration. The fastest car and the best driver should win. God, I hope NASCAR doesn't move to drag racing! "Sorry Mr. Force, but we have to disqualify you because your restricter plate is a millimeter too large!" RIGHT!

I'm not the biggest NHRA follower, but I do watch it occasionally. John Force rules funny cars, but... ... They have rules they must follow for building cars too. In stock cars the fastest car and best driver (and pit crew) does win. Every sport has rules that must be followed. THERE IS NO WAY A RACE CAN BE FIXED OR RIGGED! Please explain how this can be done? No one can predict accidents, fuel mileage, tire blowouts, engine and drivetrain failures, etc. It is not possible. I agree the cars are not "stock" but who would want to watch a "stock" ford tarus go around the track? NASCAR didnt cause this, the sport had to change along with the auto manufacturers. When Richard Petty raced, the "stock" cars were capable of racing speeds (dodge chargers, monte carlo's, olds 442's etc. )

To each his own, but please dont imply that the races are fixed, it just cant happen. NASCAR has too much to lose if anyone ever found out that inspectors were taking bribes to let certain things on the cars to slip past the inspections. These car inspections are not private, every team has the right to watch another team's car being inspected

Well im sure it isn't rigged,it sure seems that way though.

I was an Earnhardt fan,but it seems they are playing this into the ground with Dale Jr and Waltrip 1 2 all the time,it sure looked like Mikey let Jr win that race because he was in the 3 car,something just don't seem right with nascar anymore,I use to breath nascar everyday all I ever thought about,all my friends feel the same way we was HUGE Nascar fans,but like I said it just don't feel the same anymore,with all the crap with Bill Simpson,Nascar came out of the box blaming him,I think Nascar has hidden a lot of the fact over this. Mike Helton is no Bill France Jr. I don't care for him,and it seems WWF to me,I know it sound crazy.

Don't get cranked over this I just don't feel the same with Nascar anymore,I guess Earhardt made a bigger difference than I thought. . He was the best... .

And I think what im trying to say without ticking anybody off is I just don't trust Nascar like I use to,it jusr seems tarnished to me...

Not cranked just love NASCAR

I'm pretty sure Mikey was blocking more for Jr. than he was tryin to pass, but not because it was the 3 car. He is hoping that if things go that way today that Jr. will do the same for him. Remeber, it was only a BUSCH race. They arent running enough BUSCH races to worry about points. The one that counts is today. The reason that Mikey and Dale are doin so well at the restrictor plate tracks is the testing. RCR, DEI and Andy Petree racing have a program for these tracks togther. (RAD) Richard Andy Dale. Look at Harvick's preformance, his car and the DEI cars most likely are identical setups. Mikey and Kenny Wallace were not that good till they got into the right equipment. I agree that it looks strange bein 1 and 2 all the time but the $ has been put into the programs for these tracks more than the other tracks. I met Richard Childress at his shop after last years Talladega race, also visited DEI. It was very emotional for me and NASCAR will never be the same without Big E, but I love to see his work continue with DEI being as dominant as it has been. He would have had championship number 8 last year. blah, blah, blah, I'm just a die hard Earnhardt fan and miss him greatly. If Jr. would not be racing I probably would not watch anymore either. :{

I dont like the way NASCAR handled the Simpson ordeal either. It should be dropped. No one will ever know what happened. It's over, he's gone and I wish they would let it be. Just like the "rough driving" thing. NASCAR says they dont want it, but the fans love it and the networks hype it. (WWF). lol

I agree it's not the same w/o BIG E out there too guys,but seeing how Kevin stepped up last year really helped. I also agree that there is no way NASCAR could be rigged. Nice to see Richard and Teresa smiling yesterday. Kind of interesting though how fast Mikey came through the field the last time,but couldn't get past Jr..... Gotta love a little controversy... GO DEI- RCR !! Oo.

Richard Childress is a class act. We visited RCR after April's Talladega race, was closing time and we went down to the shops to see if the haulers had left yet (it was monday, they were heading to the west coast) Saw a man standing in an area where some excavation was goin on, it was Childress. We stopped, and asked for his autograph, there was 6 of us, he signed my leather earnhardt hat, took a picture with each of us and had a nice conversation. We werent even supposed to be there it was after hours. Really cool guy, drives a Chevy Tahoe, he doesnt take the fans for granted at all. DEI is really the 'garage-mahal" It is the most immaculate set of buildings i have ever seen. They had to reseed the grass along the iron fence where all the flowers were placed, it was trampled to mud from all the people. :{
